Crime Diary: Criminals behind Bars

Stoke-on-Trent and Stafford Crown Court sent 19 criminals behind bars, including a woman on burglary charges and a man causing death  by dangerous driving.

Dean Hughes of St Albans, has caused death by dangerous driving. Hughes 29, has been sentenced 56 months imprisonment at Stoke on Trent Crown Court.
Kelly Gibbs 34, charged with burglary and sentenced 10 months imprisonment at Stoke on Trent Crown Court.

Four men prosecuted at Stoke on Trent on the possession of Class A controlled drug with the intention of supplying. Bernard Shaw 49, of Barlaston sentenced for 45 months. Robert Leigh 56, of Stoke on Trent prosecuted 42 months behind bars. Usman Akhlaq 27, of Stoke on Trent sentenced 3 years imprisonment. Paul Rea has sentenced  28 months imprisonment. Twenty one years old Rea is from Leek.

Stafford Crown Court sentenced Fattmir Kelmendi for 7 years and 6 months imprisonment. 39 years old  Kelmendi has been charged for being concerned in supplying class A controlled drug.

Mathew Harrison has prosecuted for the possession of Class B controlled drug with the intention to supply. Harrison 28, has been jailed for 2 years by Stoke on Trent Crown Court.

Kyle Wheatley has charged 9 months imprisonment for conspiracy to tender counterfeit currency notes. Kyle 23, has sentenced at Stafford Crown Court.

On burglary charges, Stoke on Trent Crown Court prosecuted 34 years old Andrew McNally for 34 weeks imprisonment.  Andrew Rimes 34, sentenced to 16 months behind bars. Nathan Downes 31, of New Castle imprisoned for 2 years.

Carl Jones 39, imprisoned for 4 years for the intention of causing grievous bodily harm. Carl is from New Castle and sentenced at Stoke on Trent Crown Court. James Broome 26, sentenced to 10 months imprisonment for inflicting grievous bodily harm. He has sentenced at Stafford Crown Court.

 Sixty years old, James Gloves sentenced to 16 months imprisonment at Stafford Crown Court. Glover  convicted on the charges of attempted robbery and carrying sharply pointed blade in a public area. For the possession of a prohibited weapon, Stafford Crown Court charged 31 years old Myro Fyre. He has sentenced 5 years in prison.

David Tonks 34, has been charged with dangerous driving while disqualified.  He has sent into Jail for 10 months at Stafford Crown Court.


Two offenders sentenced to detention. Kyle Gilchrist 19, has been involved in a robbery and had carried an offensive weapon in a public area. He has to spend 4 years and 4 months in a young offender institution. Mathew Wood 18, inflicted grievous bodily harm and sent in a Young Offender Institution, sentenced at Stafford Crown Court.
